Meet CxAI
Less admin.
More commissioning.
Stop navigating. Stop searching. Know what matters - instantly.
CxAI gives you a clear answer - based on your actual project data.
CxAI started here
In 2022, CxPlanner shipped its first AI-powered feature: a checklist template generator built on thousands of real commissioning patterns. We didn't announce it. We just built it, because it saved time on site.
The skepticism was real. So we kept a simple filter: does this remove admin, or just add more software?
If it removed admin, it stayed.
The name CxAI came in January 2025.
By October, Thomas was on the BCxA stage. By April 2026, keynote at CxEnergy in Chicago.
The category is forming now.
We were already building it.
Commissioning is not the problem, the admin around it is.
Too much time goes into searching for information, updating documentation and chasing progress. Not verifying systems.
CxAI changes that
It removes the admin around commissioning. So you can focus on systems, not spreadsheets.

Smart Priorities
Know what to focus on - instantly
Ask: What should I focus on this week?
CxAI scans your project and shows overdue tasks, upcoming deadlines and critical gaps. No filters. No digging.
Time saved: ~30 minutes (every day)
AI is the tool,
you're the operator.
CxAI is not here to replace expertise. It's here to remove admin, repetition and unnecessary friction,
so professionals can focus on systems, readiness, and decisions.
AI should be used where it speeds things up - not where expert judgment is needed.
CxAI is built on the same principles as CxPlanner: Simple, practical and super fast.
Fewer typing errors
Capture data - without typing
You're on-site. Wind. Noise. 20 assets in front of you. Instead of typing - take a photo. CxAI extracts serial numbers, specifications and asset data. Automatically.
Time saved: ~5 minutes per nameplate
Detailed insights
See where things are falling behind
Commissioning is a team effort. But delays are hard to spot early.
CxAI highlights users falling behind, systems at risk and tasks not progressing.
So you can act before it becomes a problem.
Time saved: ~30 minutes
What CxAI takes off your plate
Documentation & data entry
→ Extracts asset data from nameplates and drawings, no manual typing
→ Turns P&ID tags into structured asset records automatically
→ Builds test scripts from uploaded specs and datasheets
Progress & reporting
→ Flags overdue tasks, at-risk systems, and stalled team members before they become delays
→ Generates commissioning reports from live project data, not from memory
→ Sends automated updates so you stop chasing status in meetings
Field support
→ Answers questions about your specs without digging through folders
→ Captures site observations from photos - extracted, tagged, logged
Made to be useful for everyone
For the whole project team
CxAI doesn't just help one role.
It improves flow across subcontractors, contractors and commissioning teams.
In many projects, 60-70% of time goes into admin - not commissioning.
When everyone spends less time on admin, projects move faster.
Save time without compromise
Why this matters now
Commissioning teams are lean. Margins are tight. And most projects are already behind before the first functional test runs.
The teams winning work today aren't necessarily the most experienced ones. They're the ones who move faster between field and documentation and hand over cleaner packages at the end.
CxAI removes the gap between what happens on site and what gets recorded. One minute saved per task. Thirty tasks a day. That's a compounding advantage that shows up in your delivery timeline and your profitability.
The tools are here now. The teams using them are already faster.
See CxAI in action"As a commissioning professional, I didn't trust AI at first. I didn't want a tool to replace judgment and field experience.
But when I realised AI could remove the admin - not the expertise - that's when it made sense."
