Commissioning software, Commissioning cost-benefit, Commissioning ...
This blog post contains some of the commissioning updates around the globe - because we like commissioning :)
Podcast about commissioning
Our Founder Thomas T. Jarløv participated in the podcast #edificecomplex. Adam Muggleton and Robert Bean facilitated the podcast, which was a talk about Cx and Thomas' background.
Many commissioning subjects were discussed: Cx certifications, Cx Planner, the book about Cx (soon be to be launched in English), the Cx industry and many more.
Cost-benefit - Cx is a good case
The final report from Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory (LBNL) has been published. The report shows, that implementing Cx is still a good idea.
We are still using and comparing data to E. Mills reports from 2003 and 2009. This report evaluates and compare the newly data from 2018 to the previous results.
The screenshot below shows, that we have an average payback time for existing construction projects on 1,7 years and for new constructions 4,2 years. Read the full report here: Building Commissioning Costs and Savings Across Three Decades and 1,500 North American Buildings.
